• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Just 5 in the last 26 games in all competitions since August 15th . 1 of those games was against Cardiff that were reduced to 10 men early in the game. Simply not good enough , and Martin had a pre season to sort things out and find a system.

Remember the halcyon days of 'he hasn't had a pre season'?

We're all going to look stupid when he sails us into the PL and we see the premiere of Superfan Returns.

If we go back as far as the Cardiff game we have won 3 in 14 & 2 of those have been against 10 men for the majority of the game!

New buzzwords appear to be "Final 3rd entries" Pffft

Hmmmmm.

Arsenal has the youngest squad in the Premier League.

Was the same last season. We concede too many goals, and too many stupid, avoidable goals at that.

Until RM learns how to organise a defence, and thus far he's shown no capability in this area whatsoever (much like man management), we're going nowhere.

Excuse for what though? What would you say realistically a good season is, with our current budget and rebuild we are going through to smash the wage bill to pieces?

We read much about strikers, wing backs being on our wanted list but we have not addressed the most basic function of all and that is to ensure we have a solid ,preferably experienced keeper.

Right now we have a lacking in confident Benda and Fisher .

I think it's more a lack of ability in Fisher's case...

Whilst our squad is not the strongest in all areas I fully agree that a lot of this is organisation. The number of times one simple ball plays the opposition in when our line is up near half way or we turnover possession in the middle or high up the pitch and full backs/wingers are way out of position. Strange when our manager was a defender.
