I thought the Remembrance concert last night was very well done. My uncle fought at Monte Casino and it was particularly touching. The whole poppy thing has gone a bit mad though.

It has gone OTT.

Many who fought would be so saddened to see how things have gone in this world and certainly shake their head at how people think and act in this modern world.

Then you would relate to the fact that his message is for people to respect others choices and opinions.....well that's what he is saying when defending himself.

It's a double sided coin so standing by his view and then calling someone else's view or opinion as idiotic is very much ignorant.

Please don't take that as I am having a go, I am just trying to highlight the other side of the coin here.
I just try to keep the book open as much as I can but unfortunately people get offended when they read/hear something they don't want too reah/hear.
