I had an email from the club yesterday promoting the Bristol Rovers pre season game, the first thing I noticed was it had the wrong date Tuesday 22nd July rather than Tuesday 25thJuly.
I decided to buy a ticket as i will miss the first few games and wanted to see how we looked like under Duff.
I foolishly tried to use the app on my phone, due to the “captcha”security check which it asks you to use to prove you are not a bot, you cannot even see the check if you have you phone at normal magnification and once you open it you cannot magnify it to follow the instructions. I eventually got onto the ticketing site and selected my seat and paid, i noticed it showed i had paid but the confirmation tab was not ticked but there was nothing else you could do.
I could see i had £10 pending payment in my bank account but i did not have a confirmation email as is the norm. This morning i had another unprompted email from the club which identified i had bought a ticket and that i should have had an email and to check my spam and junk folders with various instructions informing me when i should see my ticket, i could also request that the confirmation email was re sent.
Still no emails, i have no doubt i will get my ticket eventually but the ST I paid for is still not showing on my account and the faff to actually buy this ticket suggests that the club / Ticketmaster don’t have a handle on this.
Somebody needs to sort this out because if i was an occasional supporter i would have given up buying a ticket yesterday.
