Co-owner becoming a free agent...

He would surely have no shortage of takers who would be interested in him, even if its only for one year or two years. Just think of the depth of knowledge and experience he would be able to share with your squad members and what he could teach players in day to day training

I think he wants to play for Croatia at the 26 WC In the americas, so he might try and get a year contract at an MLS club.

Modric Ben Davies and Aboubakar in the same squad straight down the spine, piss the league.

What better way to grow the club and Modric have a return on investment, join us, commercial and shirt sales sky rocket, get us promoted club is worth shit ton.

I don't think his destination would be a problem when it comes to his national team. He's Luka Modric. He could probably join Cardiff and still get a Croatia call up for the World Cup.

I’m sure he ruled Modric out and said he wasn’t sure of the name just that the club are working on something WOW. @Derwydd
Not Modric. He is not the player in my post. Love it if he did though. Someone suggested MLS. That would probably work better for him given the 26 WC is in USA

Fellow Madrid legend Fernando Morientes told CasinoHawks recently: “Luka Modric playing for Swansea would be tremendous. I'm sure there would be a lot of excitement among the fans. A player like Luka Modric, even if he's at the end of his career, would be welcome I’m sure and he would be excited for the project.

Luka going for a Pump and Dump investment strategy. Put some money in to get a financial stake. Then sign for us. Watch the commercial/sponsor cash roll in. Sell out and leave with a profit💰

As unlikely as a move to the Swans may seem the goings on at Wrexham and Brum show that strange things are possible. To be able to afford his wages we would need to be able to secure some very lucrative commercial deals. If Brum can do it, why not us? After all, though he's probably American football's GOAT, does Tom Brady's involvement with Brum make that much difference, given it's a different sport? I suspect it's a minor factor in Brum's commercial success. Modric, on the other hand is the real deal.
