• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Even if they end up back in the Championship Rodon and Roberts didn't make bad moves.
A contract trebling/quadrupling your wages is not a bad move.

Too true.
Not many people wouldn't swap their job for a 3 or 4 year contract that triples your wages.
The sensible ones would save as much of that as is possible to allow them a better life when their wages drop back down to what they were on.

Injury and illness really hasn't helped Connor though to show much this season
A drop down on loan to get him back up to full fitness wouldn't hurt Dyche next season

He’ll be back in the Championship before the signs for the January sales are taken down. I’d have no objections to a return to us and I would like to think that he would be open to it.

Christie or Connor?
From what I have seen of Christie I think Roberts would be on the bench for most of the run in.

Interestingly... I saw Connor Roberts down in Mumbles this morning. Mind you, Ive just checked and there's no Premier League games this weekend for some reason... so I guess players have been given some time off.

Don’t think he’ll be leaving them now, he made his full debut against Arsenal didn’t he and impressed.

Winter break I believe ?
Some get to go to sunnier climates,
Connor goes to rainy Mumbles

Makes sense for them to continue with their winter break so they can complain around March about fixture congestion and all that

Not as if they had any time off around mid December onwardsthrough postponed games or anything

Exactly. Plain crazy.
No guarantee games wont be hit again between now and the end of the season ?

Connor. It goes without saying that my hunch may not come to fruition
