Cooper’s Talksport comment was a Crystal Palace hint?

He's not hiding it, even on official site

That means nothing. He’s never taken responsibility for any ‘setbacks’. Always the players fault, the cowardly fistpumping sap. Did I mention he’s a coward?

Clutching at straws maybe Mon. It's across other forums that he'll be gone in days mind

Cooper is limited and doesn't learn.
Should have gone last Jan if not sooner.

Would be happy if he were to leave, it needs a freshen up.

I don't think some players are as bad as some make out on here and I think a few would flourish if they were given a freedom to play.

I think the most important thing for us as a club is for Cooper to be gone. Copper stays and fans returning will inevitably see him gone during the new season.

I am definitely part of the "disappointed with our showing" crowd, and while part of that is down to a midfield filled pretty much entirely with workhorse style players, a lack of an established and experienced central striker to build around and precious little creativity what creativity is there has been thoroughly coached out of them by Cooper in exchange for positional and defensive stability.

While the kind of manager who can both keep a team tight at the back and exciting going forward is rare to find outside of Premier League level they most certainly do exist. Cooperball will certainly be enough for some teams like Burnley, Crystal Palace, Newcastle etc where survival and survival alone is the name of the game.

I doubt that we would have the clout these days to pull in Eddie Howe, but that sort of progressive football oriented manager should be the style that we are looking for and what we have the players mostly to take advantage of.

Whoever the next manager is, there won't be a high expectation for him
Just keep us in the championship

I'm not aware of any manager anywhere who has, on the face of it, been so successful yet is held in such low regard by supporters.

I sat there today and wondered if it was just us wanting more and better. But the dirge on show such as today is unacceptable whether you're in any league, near the bottom or top. And performances usually deliver the end result.
Travelled around 400 miles as many did today, and whilst I was gutted at the result, I had this overwhelming sense of a lack of real emotion and also the sense of little passion from the manager and players.
I felt even before the game that the Brentford fans wanted it more than our fans did, and the same with the teams.
I think Brentford will drop like a stone next season, but the cheating diving barstewards thoroughly deserved their win

Like me. I was sat behind the dugouts and the difference between the management and elevens was miles apart. Brentford in a huddle before kick-off, where were we? Stood just waiting to be put out of out misery. Body language was poor and looked like the team had given up. Only one on the touchline who looked animated was Tate

Well it's because of games like yesterday. In the biggest match the club has played in years it was a total shambles. Two goals down after 20 mins, a red card and not one shot on target , how much worse could it have possibly been and to be honest we've had far too many of those type of performances under Cooper. Dull boring negative football.

My biggest fear is that he doesn't go now but jumps ship in October to the first Premier club that sacks their manager. His negative football and loan contacts would be attractive to EPL clubs in a bit of a predicament. His comments don't prove he's off to Palace or anywhere else, but they show he knows he's taken us as far as he can and his heart's not in it any more and is just waiting for a chance to bale out.

Wouldn’t mind David Wagner coming in if Cooper was to leave, worked with Winter whilst at Huddersfield and got them promoted on a small budget.

Also a purveyor of dross football.

Would absolutely bust balls to get Rangel back here in a coaching capacity if there are management changes. He played the game right way, he's passionate, charismatic, stubborn af and can communicate. All big things when trying to develop a coaching staff to play anything on deck.

Oh and saw somebody say £4.5m for coops? Ahahahahahh
