• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Regardless of the legitimacy of anything on twitface etc., Cooper felt undermined yes? That being the case there are far more worrying things, other than social media etc., afoot.

I do worry about how content Cooper is here, who can blame him at the moment either. Look at our squad

Benda/Woodman
Roberts/Naughton - Cabango - Rodon - Guehi - Bidwell/John
Smith/Fulton - Grimes/Byers
Gibbs-White/Dhanda
Ayew/Routledge - Lowe/Gyokeres/Garrick

Leaves out Cullen but includes John who is obviously surplus. It is a very weak squad overall, strong first eleven but back up non existent. 20 players in total

They have had a falling out over Peterson. Winter selling him behind Coopers back, seems to be the problem.

Aye 'cos Cooper really rates Petersen. Has done since day one. He might go because his mate Birch has gone but he won't be cashing in his chips over Petersen.

The last few press conferences he’s openly talked about wanting to be backed by the chairman and owners... it would appear they’re not backing him as he’d like and selling players behind his back, maybe he’s knows Rodon is being sold too?

David Wagner in is a good punt.

They're all out in force this evening. All seeking attention...

And now he's deleted that tweet. What a knob.
But not the original tweet

Deleted his whole account now

Would have been just better to say "sorry I got it wrong" rather than the classic meltdown. Beats BGT at least

C mon Daz, thought you were our eyes n ears on twitter. Sort it out pal.

Dont you mean wagner needs a good punt.

He's got a comfortable job managing one of the strongest matchday squads in the entire league and is extremely unlikely to be offered a better job anytime soon.

I think it is very unlikely he will resign over what has happened. Even more so when you consider this is a player that Cooper has largely alienated from the team during league matches.

2 players for every position? Majority of those players are regulars/Cooper signings.
I wouldn't say the back ups are weak. They were first choice players last season/post lockdown.
It's covid times. Not sure what else we can expect?

We defo need another CB and prob one CM, assuming nobody else goes.

Spot on BT95
With a squad that is more than decent, unbeaten in the league, wanting to bring in players and knows it's a 1 in 1 out policy but whining when one who he doesn't play and sends out on loan is transferred (by all accounts) Cooper needs to knuckle down to coaching and improving the players he has.

Ever the apologist for our owners. I noticed even a post about Bidwell turned into an opportunity to sneak diss the manager, who - incidentally - is doing a great job 👌

These people are trolls.

If they're not, they've never had positions of power.

Being undermined at whatever level is unacceptable and you should walk is it's happening to you.

Yeah, I can't see him walking yet. But he's obviously not happy.

It’s an excellent first eleven at this level. Darren needs to get banned from Twatter again. :)
