Cooper

Maybe it's just me, but for a game that has hinged on one lapse and then 10 men behind the ball clinging on for the rest of the match hooking every ball as far as they're able to kick the facker, we're going into a propper hissy fit where all sense is going out the window.

It happens against defences like Cardiff when you've given them something to defend. Only one chance on goal maybe, as if attempts off target such as Ayew's header that missed by millimetres doesn't mean anything. I wonder sometimes if some people sit there looking at their phones all match to see what some kant is saying about the game on Twitter and then just look up the stats after the damn thing's finished to know what went on.

But throw your toys out the pram if it helps you cope.

But yeah, Cooper's a fraud or something, what ever the fack that's supposed to mean.

All that possession one shot on target!!!! Hissy fits are justified mate

I concur

i agree with you to an extent jacket, although i think mot peoples gripe is coopers reluctance to get at teams fromthe off - if we did that today that game was finishing 2/3-0 to us. We have the players to play good stuff but the coward doesnt want to play that way

So for you a scuffed shot that's saved by the keeper as if he was stopping a shot by a toddler playing in crocks means more than a header that's millimetres off? Well at least the players know how to please you. May as well start shooting on target from the half way line, it doesn't matter they're going to be saved easily, because the stats will show that we had loads of shots on target. Good fackin plan.

we were comfortably the better team as we prove pretty much every time against them. If they had Ayews header it would go in, same as with the thirty odd blocks their gorms at centre half made. Any other week that finishes 3/4-0 to us.

We have proved we can play, thats where cooper comes unstuck im afriad as it is evident that he sets us up to play turgid fucking shit week in week out. FFS they had a cm playing at left back and right back and a kid at centre half - fucking get at them from the start but no coward givees us the usual keep tight bollcks

also o the topic of managers, why do we always seem to have ours poached as soon as we have a good season or so - frank at brentford and thomas fritz or whatever hes called at Norwich have been there a long time now

Agree with this, we have a dozen poor games in a row with disgusting tactics, and this game where we've pressed relentlessly and been denied by block after block and desperate clearance after desperate clearance, this is the one where people start calling for Cooper's head. If we'd seen more playing like we've seen tonight in the previous few matches, we'd be a damn sight nearer Watford I'm damn sure of it.

tbf ive been calling for coopers head pretty much post norwich. I was adamant that we were top 2 after that perfromance but i cannot understand how we go from that to turgid shit every week thereafter, it makes no sense. The only thing i can attirbute it to is cooper thinking he knew it all and thinking he could shut up shop til the end of the season.

Also, wtaf is mike marsh doing for us? The bloke spent years at liverpool and you're telling me this is his football philosophy? Similarly MM with Woodman - shot stopping aside woodman is bottom half championship. That pass straight to moore was fucking laughable, watch it again and it looks like he genuinely wants to pass it to him, like he didnt even seen him 5 yards in his direct vision ffs

They were more than happy to park the bus knowing we wouldn’t score in a month of Sundays.

thats not the case though badlands, on anoter day we score 3/4. We werent huffing and puffing and not getting shots off. We just couldnt score. Ayew's goes in 9x out of 10, as does whittakers just passed the post.

In any event i fucking hate cooper and everything hes made us become and would love to wake up tomorrow with him gone - newcastle anyone?

We'd score 3 or 4! What have you been smoking?
Apart from Ayew's header that could have gone anywhere we didn’t come close. Phillips made two ver easy saves.

Lets not forget we could have easily been 2 or 3 down at halftime.

Aye, Woodie gifting Moore and Bacuna just not quite getting on the end of that cross.

Come on, be honest with yourself, this opinion isn’t based on one game.

We’ve been insipid over 2 seasons with Cooper... I can’t stand his style of football. It’s a combination of the worst of Clement and Monk.

It may bring some success (be seemingly not enough to gain promotion - and if we did miraculously win promotion this style of football would be annihilated in the PL), but I’d honestly now prefer to stay in the championship and be mid table and play decent football. Or even better... play decent football and get promoted.

Go get Valérien Ismaël please.
