"Unfortunately the increased prevalence of Covid-19 infections in our communities means we must once again restrict visiting to our hospitals, to protect patients and staff."

‘Visiting with a purpose’ has been re-introduced in our adult general wards with immediate effect."

If hospitals could ban visitors permanently they’d do it. Massive inconvenience for them.

This 100%, some people/visitors don't help themselves though, spent weeks overall since middle to late September to now and some people blatantly ignored the rules set out for Covid regarding wearing masks.

But I agree, Covid as been used as a convenient excuse, couldn't even get into reception at our surgery until the last 3 to 4 months.

No excuse for not wearing a mask when asked to. Unless you’re a twat of course.

They've got a condition that excuses them no doubt, nobody challenges them, so they just crack on.
Its not worth challenging them though in fairness, why put yourself in that position just move along quickly and avoid them.

My lad is in there, been there since early hrs of Sunday, there's Covid infections scattered throughout the Hospital, he's in a cubicle now, but there are cases on that ward as well.
My Father has just been taken in as well now, I've never spent as much time in the hospital in my near 62yrs as I have over the last 18 months 2yrs :|

It's on the ward at Ty Olwen too. A few cases there as well.

My Father has got it, they did a test on him last night on his admission and it was positive, on a better note he's said to be a lot better somorning he's eating and drinking which he hasn't been doing, a whiff of oxygen last night and some IV fluids and he's doing a rendition of singing in the rain, haven't seen him of course, Mrs went over and asked how he was.
I've been rough last few days, I've done three tests all negative, gonna do another one shortly if that's ok I'm going down there.
