Per reports, we were/are after Buckley from Blackburn (currently on loan to Sheff W), and they want Cullen. Could a swap deal materialise? Would it be worth it? Could be interesting in January and probably depends on where Cullen is in the pecking order by then.

I think Duff likes Cullen, so I'd be surprised to see him leave. Bit of a 'worker bee' type that fits in with how Duff wants his forwards to operate.

Buckley didn't look up to much on Saturday - although it's rough to judge him off one performance.

Both could be argued are very average at this level

Every player in this league is mediocre to average, it's a really poor standard.. look at Sheff Utd losing 8-0 to Newcastle.. Newcastle are an average European side, they're not even top level.. people in our lower leagues lack technical skill.. which all Europeans have in abundance.. it's all about athleticism and power.. and it's proven over 100 years that teams who win things play football

Except in 1927.

Anyway, transfer window’s closed. Cant we keep all the relentless guff until January.

Concerning that we should be interested in any player in that Sheff W team after last Saturday, one of the poorest I've seen for a long time down here thankfully...
