Much is said about "big" sides never taking the two cup competitions seriously but since us and Wigan won the domestic cups in 2012/13 these are the two lists of winners of the two cups
FA Cup
2014 - Arsenal
2015 - Arsenal
2016 - Man Utd
2017 - Arsenal
2018 - Chelsea
2019 - Man City
2020 - Arsenal
2021 - Leicester
League Cup
2014 - Man City
2015 - Chelsea
2016 - Man City
2017 - Man Utd
2018 - Man City
2019 - Man City
2020 - Man City
2021 - Man City
16 cups and just 1 (Leicester) outside the perceived Big 5 (Two Manchester Clubs, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea)
Is this an indication of the "big" teams getting stronger squads and therefore able to negotiate a way through to the final easier or the "smaller" teams playing weaker sides and therefore cancelling out any advantage they may have?
