Anybody think the current top 6 will be the final top six teams come end of the season in no particular order?

No. There’s always a ‘bolter’. I don’t think Reading will make it and I’m not going to jinx us. Bmuff and Narch for sure, much as I wish it weren’t so. I detest Narch’s ability to sneak a win just when you think they won’t and Bmuff have just bought their way there.

The three relegated teams are the ones to beat. We need to finish above two of them for automatic. I expect Brentford to be in the play offs and anyone’s guess as to the other one.

Think Coventry will give it a good go, been impressed with their style

Top 6 prediction

Bournemouth
Swansea
Norwich
Boro
Cardiff
Stoke

We've got as good a chance as any. Be interesting to see what happens in January. Palmer's loan runs out then. Do we gamble and use that loan slot to try to bring in another forward or keep Palmer and wait to see if MGW can make a difference? What sort of role does Gyokeres still have to play?

We're a robust, well organised but often dull team to watch. Almost Sousa-esque at times, which will keep us there or thereabouts. If we can find the attacking spark that he couldn't then we might even push for the autos.

Isn't MGW due to come back in January and that's the reason for the Palmer loan till January deal? If so can see Palmer going back, and I could see us trying to send Gyokeres back so we can bring in 2 players, otherwise we ain't going to be paying transfer fees in January.

Maybe Brewster fancies coming back seeing as he isn't playing for Sheffield.

Cardiff will be closer to the bottom 6 if they keep hold of Harris much longer

We signed Palmer on loan the same time as MGW, would be sorry to see him go back to Brizzle in January, good impact player for us.

We signed Palmer after MGW got injured.

Think Palmer is a useful squad player and will need in him i think. Lot depends if MGW and Byers get fir might decide what happens. Gorks needs a run in the side or sent back to Pottersville

It’s early days and there’s a long way to go, but at the start of the season I thought it would be
Bournemouth
Norwich
Watford
Brentford
Stoke and
Cardiff.

I thought the sale parachute payments, combined with owners who have deep pockets (and in Brentford’s case being a well run club ) would prevail. Re the Swans I thought the sale of Rodon and loss of Brewster would have affect the club, but to be fair Cooper so far this season he’s got things going. Long May it continue.

Reading out and Stoke in would be my guess. It's going to be a tough league to get out of as it is every season.

Don’t want to jinx us but I think it’s between us, Norwich and Bournemouth for top 2...

I think Bournemouth finish top and we’ll grab 2nd 🤞🏻🙏🏼

This is where I stand. I like Palmer and would like to keep him. I think without the need to change the midfield as often he may possibly have held down a starting spot by now behind Ayew and Lowe.

We'll be around the playoffs, but I think we have a fantastic chance to have a push for top two if we add a sprinkling of goals up top. Gyokeres and Cullen are nowhere near what we need.
