• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I'm a moaner. Umm I'm sorry, don't let my feelings get you down.

There was a time when I could come on here, have a good argument, go potty, and then wake up next day, and apologise.

I can't even bring myself to argue with anyone any more, it's rubbish.. I will say, had some tablets off the doc, think it was January, it seems only the last few weeks they are kicking in...

I think it's better that way,. Just off to bed, quite bored, I can't believe I have nothing negative to say, ffs, 'm fucking gobsmacked with this too be honest, not even a go ferk yourelf, nothing.. I just can't get angry.

Good on you for going to the doctors butty, that’s a big step for most men to make. Tablets do take a few months to get into your system and start working, but tablets alone won’t get you far. One of the best things you can do is exercise, and eat a healthy balanced diet. And if you still find yourself low after that, please try counselling, there are loads of different counselling methods, so if one don’t work, try another and keep going. Same goes for tablets, everyone is different, so if you think they are not hitting the spot, get yourself back to the doctors and try something else.

Keep going, you’ll get there 💪🏻💪🏻

Custard Slice's are the Dog's, I don't mind the odd Custard Tart, but a Jenkins Custard slice is on a different stratosphere.

I implore you to try one, Try a Cornish Pasty first followed by a Tea and then tuck in to one of their Custard slices and another cuppa to wash it down, I guarantee you will not be disappointed, unless you're a philistine of course

Not sure about that, Custard Tarts seem much nicer than a Custard Slice, I think it's the icing on the slice which ruins it for me, just find it too sweet. Good shout about Jenkins though, haven't been there for years, I'll have to grab something soon.

My FA Cup Final brunch was a Jenkins corned beef pasty and a custard slice. Top tip - take off the top iced layer, place it at the bottom, then eat. Zero mess and softens some of the sweetness of the icing.

Cold beers in the garden now with the footy on through the patio doors. Waiting for my solar lights to come on

You dropped the ball with a Corned Beef Pasty Coops, their Cornish Pasties are different gravy altogether, I implore you to try one :D

I'm on a diet and the Cornish looked a tad large.
