• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Just seen Harry Redknapp on BBC Wales evening news. Cwm Albion got my attention as I spent many a holiday on Jersey Road when growing up. Anyway, who should pop up in the background but Dan. I don't know his surname but we would always see him at away games, every game we went to Dan was there. I was in Swansea for literally 2 hours several years ago and bumped into him in the quadrant. I didn't know his name but had a selfie with him to show my son. Anyway, we haven't seen him for a couple of years, possibly because we haven't been to so many games, so it was really good to see that he is fine.

Thank you

Perhaps he can open an account to get em funded. Could put it in his dogs name.

Dan Gill and his old man Colin. Fair play to them and everyone else involved for sticking with it and turning up every week even when getting battered. It’d be a lot easier to pack it in and go somewhere else.

Hopefully this will see their fortunes turn around now and attract some more players. Be nice to get them back in to the senior league instead of the reserve divisions they’re in now, god knows the SSL is desperate for some more teams.

Cwm Albion were a good team when I was a kid (Swansea Junior League)I never won a game against them but then I played for Pennard Colts and you can count the number of victories we had in 4 seasons on the fingers of 1 hand.
