• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

We’re Wales, yet a lot of our fans think like England fans. It’s very odd.
Ash Williams last night said he would back Dan James against any European full back at the moment.
Now he has improved but that's an overt the top statement

It’s the moustache. It’s robbed him of all his power.
He's lucky that he hasn't got a broken leg this morning, if that player had gone in with a little more force he would have, just how the fuck the Ref didn't see it as a red I don't know, then again I thought the ref was poor all game.

Not to mention two integral players missing, arguably our best in Harry Wilson.

Three points, off to a winning start and the unbeaten run increases.

We’ll have to be a lot better next week mind.

Both England and Italy only managed a draw out there, but both beat them comprehensively at home.

Some of ours will expect to trounce them. Same ones that expect the Swans to sweep all before them.

Ampadu and Wilson coming back from injury will be massive too, very optimistic.
Two huge players for us these days.

There's no reason we can't win this group. Every reason to be very optimistic.

I think we have a chance to win the group, but with our pool of players it only takes a handful of injuries to scupper our chances.

It's always been the same, unfortunately.

What makes me feel more confident these days is the Bellamy factor.

Right there with you. Last night felt like the kind of game we'd have dropped points in previously.

We weren't playing well, key players were out (Ampadu, Wilson) and they equalised through a penalty. Heads would have dropped in the past, but Bellamy seems to have them believing in themselves.

Absolutely would have folded under Page.

Just feels different with Bellamy, like you said he's got all of them believing in themselves.

What's happened to Connor Roberts? He had a mare.
He really frustrated me last night. He did a few good things, but there were times when he gave the ball away, passed back when he could have looked up and passed it forward and put Dan James in to space.

To be honest a number of his team mates were also more inclined to pass it back instead of looking up and having a go. That said, a win is a win and it’s 3 points in the bag.
