In an interview when asked why he signed for Wolves, Dorus came out with the words to the effect of “wolves expect to stay up, Swansea hope to stay up”. How’d that work out for him 🤣
The season before Dorus signed for us in saw him playing for Dunfermline in the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden Park against Celtic 😂

Exactly.

The only reason he left was because he thought he'd do better elsewhere.

We'd have brought in a new #1 whether DeVries had stayed or not, and Pratley knew months in advance that Rodgers wasn't all that fussed.

Both made the only sensible decisions available to them.
The pair of them thought they were Billy Big Bollocks.

The club practically begged Doris to say and he fucked off at the first sign of other clubs sniffing around , the same went for Pratley.

Tom Williams was a cracker, pimped himself around thinking he was good enough to play at Inter Milan, ended up moving to Wycombe Wanderers, then slid further and further down the football pyramid finishing up at Hashtag United.
His missus wasn't bad looking though in fairness...
He was a proper nut job, his wife wasn't far behind.

I remember meeting her once through group of friends and we went out for meal. The woman didn't stop slagging off Trundle, they couldn't get over why the fans loved him and not her Tommy.

He was proper shit too mind, one of those players you were hoping would move on...

Not convinced that Darling wants to leave, seems like he feels very much at home here just wants a fair remuneration for what he does, we can all resonate with that surely.

“Wolves are going into a third season in the top division and as I've said to my family, the difference for me is that while Swansea will hope to maintain their Premier League status, Wolves will expect to survive.
Swansea is a club which I'm sure can grow into the Premier League but at Wolves that experience is already there with most of the players having been in the league for at least two years.”

At least he got to see how it all unfolded sat on the bench.

Tom Williams is a name I'd long forgot. Cypriot International too if I remember? Absolute mug he was.
