New players being looked at in January will be signed purely from data.

As I said, using data is important in football as a part of the process but as a primary it's dangerous.

That's not what the article says,players will then be scouted and watched the data analysis is part of the initial search....how else are we going to identify players have someone at every ground and every game hoping to spot someone.

The game us becoming more scientific so this is just another tool.

So based on that article this is absolute nonsense, because there's no way they've set up all the things they need in that time since Paul Watson spoke about it. Just spouting nonsense, we will probably be signing players known to people at the club in Jan, no doubt some actual Duff players, maybe from Barnsley, included in that. If the new recruitment guy from Burnley is in also, maybe we can loan in one of theirs once Ashby is gone.
