• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Anderlecht have made an enquiry, how much we thinking? Maybe this is funding the Thomas transfer.

£3m in, same out. Would be as good a deal as when we got £18m for Mawson

bloody hell I'd drive him there for 3million!!

The lad hasn't really got it at top Championship level, so if we can get the majority of that transfer fee back, I'd be delighted.
Enjoy the mussels, chips and beer, Dan.

Lad looked raw but talented under Potter. Obviously Cooperball doesn't suit him. Not surprised to see clubs prepared to take a punt as there's obvious talent there, but £3m would be a lot.

Wasn’t he linked to some big clubs in January for 5M? Leeds Leipzig Fiorentina ring a bell.

Much better than he’s been made to look by Mr Fraud. We still need better though.

Very lightweight but one of very few creative players on the books. Cooper doesn’t do creative players (see Celina). Much talk about signing forwards but who is going to supply the ammunition? We are desperate for a midfield player with an eye for a pass and one who is prepared to run beyond the strikers (see Ramsey yesterday).

There's a player in there somewhere but we've got a manager who doesn't play a style suited to his strengths. Scouts around Europe clearly have half an eye on him as names of top flight clubs occasionally crop up. Not sure what figure has been put on the table but if it's anywhere near seven figures then he will be gone pronto.
