I don’t think this is unusual. Examples like this pop up quite regularly from other clubs. They rely on the appeal of the club.

Neath_Jack said:That's incorrect. My ex used to interview graduate social workers for both Neath and Swansea councils, and they used to start on £30k a number of years ago.
As it happens, one of my daughters is nearing the end of her social work degree and the starting wage is now around the £34k mark for local authorities.
