It's tricky, as the alternative is unknown. It could be worse.

As precious as time is, I'd probably juuuust about lean towards giving it another go next year, especially if we can get some additional investment to fill in some gaps in the squad and RM realizes that everyone is tired of hearing how much possession we had in a 0-2 loss.

Spending 400k on 'Fish' seemed so ridiculous that I'm not sure I'll ever get over it, and there are other moments where you wonder wtf this guy is on about, but I think there's enough there to give him one more bash next season.

I'm on the fence about Martin (although marginally more on the side of wanting him gone), so I can see both sides of the argument. Having said that, I'm bemused that anyone would back him 100% based on the mediocrity of the last 2 seasons.

Mediocrity. What do you expect a club with a bottom third budget to achieve?

It’s quite a simple equation. If Marin plays to the strengths of the team and shows adaptability, then he’s going to win me over. We have a squad which is better than four wins in twenty odd and playing to strengths would improve that stat no end.

Whereas if he shows extreme stubbornness which results in poor results and performance, then he can expect to be called out.

I am currently in the ‘out’ camp but a decent next month could sway me for another pre season and late summer.

Luton Town and Millwall are two good examples of what can be achieved on a small budget and where match tactics are aligned to squad strengths.

6 unbeaten and he is now great?
Decent guy poor manager.
So No.
You could do a poll with this fella every 2-3 months and opinions will change with some.
Mine just can't.

Half of the problem with Fish is the tactics that are being played out in front of him. Far too many examples of self induced pressure being lumped upon him, we shouldn’t be surprised that his confidence gets eroded.

100%

Not convinced he will be though

I just can't see him leaving, whether that's by his own fruition or the owners sacking him I don't think they have the desire to sack him, so I don't think either is gonna happen.

He's a young Manager who they may think is gonna get better and he may well do, think we'll continue to be a mid tableish championship team with lots of highs and lows and I'm quite happy with that, can't see that changing unless someone is gonna come in and splash the cash, and being realistic that isn't gonna happen.

Go with the flow and enjoy the excitement of the highs and lows.

Both clubs haven’t been on the period of decline we have been under, pretty much from the moment the Americans took over the club.

But I do agree, superb seasons for both and over achieving.

Well it all depends.. if new owners or investors come to the party and replace Latibeaudierre and Fisher and Martin sticks to 4 at the back instead of 5 which leaves gaping holes in our back line like last night and nearly every game this season he can sod off, every team just has to push 10 yards up the field and knock it into the channels which leaves Cabango and Wood in a foot race is asking for trouble and someone needs to remind Manning that he has defensive work to do, most overrated player this season

It would be an act of great self harm if we lost our minds and sacked him.
It’s more likely that we get off to a barnstorming start to next season and he’s snapped up by a bigger club.

The other half of the problem is that he’s a shit goalkeeper.

Looked a lot better recently to be fair to the lad. Been in a bad place and hopefully come out of the other side now.
