• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Some friends of mine are visiting Swansea soon and have asked me if I know of any dog friendly places to eat.

Not owning a dog makes thst a tricky one for me but I know plenty of you guys have dogs. So if you have any recommendations please let me know below. Thanks.

The Pumphouse is dog friendly with decent food, but plenty are dog friendly now mate.

The Croeso Lounge Mumbles is decent too.

In Mumbles you've got The Mermaid and The Kitchen Table.

Then there's The Secret on the front.
The Welsh House (marina)
Founders (Wind St)

I tend to go to cafes:
Coast (near marina) [downstairs only]
Norton Stores (Mumbles-ish)
Three Cliffs (Pennard) [dog area just inside entrance]]
Beach Hut Cafe (Mumbles pier).
Dewkes (Sketty, few yards up from Shell garage. Smells strongly of dogs).

Swansea Market is dog friendly too and that's got eateries. Probably not what you're after but if it's chucking it down the market is a handy sanctuary.

I'll check with the boss later and edit my post if she tells me any I've missed.
