• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

The English players acted like spoilt brats belittling the two Indian century maker, they didn't have the grace to even applaud, if i was the Indian captain I would instruct my players to not even shake hands at the end with the English players. Appalling.

Other than Stokes, England can't take wickets with the old ball.

Why the fvck should India walk off, with Sunda close to a maiden Test 100, and Jadeja also close to another Test 100??
Little bit harsh seeing as England have taken 70 wickets in this series and Stokes has got 17. So that’s 53 wickets taken by bowlers other than Stokes. Silly thing to say. Agree with you on India not shaking hands though. Nothing wrong with those boys wanting to get their centuries.

The more salient point about this game instead of silly knee jerk reactions is that there hasn’t been a single positive result in any first class game at Old Trafford this season. Every one has been a draw.

He did say with the old ball mind…

If Engo clinch this series that's quite the scalp.

It's not really a silly thing to say -

"Other than Stokes, England can't take wickets with the 'old' ball."

* Stokes has taken six wickets with the ball between 41 and 80 overs.

* The other seamers have managed just two between them.

* Carse has not taken a single wicket with a ball older than 20 overs in this series.

4 changes - NO Stokes, Carse, Archer or Dawson ...

England line-up for fifth Test vs India:

1. Zak Crawley, 2. Ben Duckett, 3. Ollie Pope (c), 4. Joe Root, 5. Harry Brook, 6. Jacob Bethell, 7. Jamie Smith (wk), 8. Chris Woakes, 9. Gus Atkinson, 10. Jamie Overton, 11. Josh Tongue

Let’s hope that it’s a nice flat track and that we don’t miss Captain Courageous too much.

No Stokes is a massive blow no two ways about it. Man of the series regardless of the outcome. I in toss, bat first. Bat long. Bat once if possible

India will be happy enough. England’s bowlers have been mostly poor, still picked up six wickets but look to have lost Woakes for the rest of the game.
