• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

At it again. Always comes across very entitled to me. She'll never accept that she's a pretty poor pundit and generally dislikeable.

Only thing she seems to be good at is burning bridges.

Like any pundit, she has had good and bad takes on things.

Simon Jordan doesn’t come off too well here. Saying that Aluko has been fortunate because of DEI programs when she has over 100 caps for England and has had an excellent club career, is just a bit daft really in my opinion.

Not sure her criticisms of Ian Wright make her public image look great but I think she is getting at a wider point about the system that the women’s game exists in. It shouldn’t need big names from the men’s game as pundits to succeed. That’s her ultimate point for me. However, Wright has always supported the women’s game and is acting in good faith doing the punditry, so he didn’t deserve the criticism.

They have women pundits on TV for men's games.. BBC and ITV. Plus Match of Day presenters - two women. No problems in men's game

And yes, she was way out of order with Wrighty, very supportive of women's game

That TalkSport piece is a car crash of an interview. Forty five minutes of Jim White clickbait, allowing Eluko to dig herself into a deeper and deeper hole.

I actually listened to the Talksport interview at the time. Simon Jordan actually let her off lightly; I was literally cringing for her.

I thought it was a reasonable interview, engaging radio. In my opinion of course. Jordan is my guilty pleasure 😂

She's clearly too self absorbed and stupid to understand she's actually biting the hands that (help to) feed women's football.
