• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

At least its interesting to see how wales would have done had they qualified for any other tournament from 1958 to 2016, i.e a bit crap, sub Kieffer Moore for John Hartson

They would have done ok, a lot better than those Jock cheats, in 1978. They would have done better than those cheating jock twats in 1986. They would have been a decent bet to do ok in 1982. They would have had a good lash in 1994 and they should have got to the semifinal of the euros at least in 1976.

But apart from that…

I hate to think what Italy will do to us. Page hasn't got a clue. Take off the only player who's terrorising the Swiss defenders. Great idea, you feckin plank.

Should have been some sort of wing back 532 there.

Ramsey looked decent. Bale anonymous..

When you have Moore up front, why do they not have Roberts launching long throws in? Would have been a nightmare, plus the Swiss wouldn't have set up for counters.

Showed them far too much respect. Sat too deep. Lucky in the end. Oh and would absolutely love Ward to replace woodman.

1 win will do it for any of the teams outside Italy

Realistically, Swiss and Wales have 1 game left to do that, Turkey 2

If all three draw their games then it comes down to goals scored against one another, i believe

Agreed, Turkey will be delighted with that result. 2nd place there for the taking for them now. They know we have to go for the win on Wednesday and can look to hit us on the counter. At least that game will be in the evening when it will be a bit cooler.

We were as lucky to get 1 point there as England were to get 3 points against us in 2016. Substituting our best outfield player just after we equalised was baffling. If anyone other than Bale had played as anonymously as he did, they would have been subbed instead. Mepham was poor, but so was Rodon to be fair.

Massive improvement needed Wednesday. Anything other than a win and we're basically out barring a miracle against Italy.

Robbie Savage is awful isn't he?

Yes he is, even after his enjoyable dig at Boris Johnson last night. It's hard to believe he played professional football at a high level for many years when you listen to him talk. Seems to have no tactical awareness at all. His answer to everything going wrong is 'work harder, run faster, tackle more'. Do you think that's all his managers trusted him to do on the pitch?

I'm no fan of Mark Hughes, the miserable Gog, but at least he clearly understands the game of football and made relevant points at half-time.

Agree but Turkey will be targeting it for a win too, knowing that a draw in their last game will get them through. Expecting it to be more open than today, we need to play a lot better too if we’re going to win it.

Set up of this is a shambles.
Denmark/Finland virtually full with 3k away fans. We are up against 30k Turks on Weds and away to Italy.
Scots/England playing at home...list goes on.
How the fck is this is a fair/level tournament?

Put it down to mighty brown envelopes passed to Mr. Platini, whose idea this cockend of a competition is. Plus stir in COVID and you've got such mighty unfairness everywhere it could almost have been cooked up by Satan's lieutenant, Mr Blatter himself.

Hal Robson Kanu was a breath of fresh air. Spoke articulately and made sense.

Its a travesty that England get to play at home and we are playing in Timbukfkingtu.

Hoping Christien Eriksen is ok, this is awful and Jonathan Pearce just needs to shut the fuck up
