• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Not sure Drakeford has much pull with the Dutch government to be honest. Perhaps Bojo's government could sort something if England were playing in Amsterdam, but it's only Wales so Westminster won't give two shits.

Maybe buddy, but Drakeford has said fck all in support. Plus we now hear that its been agreed that 2.5k UEFA officials can come to the final without quarantine. And not one of us can go to Holland for 12 hours . The whole thing stinks the place out.

I've been ultra cautious all along and have been impressed the way Drakeford has gone about things, bearing in mind I have first hand experience on how dangerous covid can be, but have to say that by the end of July, also bearing in mind the success of the vaccine, surely all social distancing restrictions, including the wearing of masks is lifted altogether...

Like being in North Korea ffs. Being told what to do,where we can/cant go and being fed lie upon lie. Them being cautious is not what this is about. Time we all woke up.

45k allowed in Wembley next Tuesday, yet not one Welsh fan can be in and out of Amsterdam in 12 hours ( with probably all being double jabbed). That's nothing short of a fckn scandal, and Drakeford wants linching for not supporting the country in this.
We could possibly get to the semis....then watch him leading the plaudits. Cvnt.

It's not Boris or Drakeford. Not one single newspaper has picked up this story, in fact the only story about Wales upcoming match that I have seen (I don't read them all) is in the Graun and it talks mainly about Danmark. If it was the same situation with England playing, or come to that Scotland, it would be banner headlines in all sports pages. The moral is that the Welsh don't whinge enough. If the Dutch don't see any ground swell of objection coming from the UK, they will pay no attention to govt. protests.

1400 Danes have gotten tickets that were allocated to Denmark. And probably some in the neutral zone too. The 12 hours rule isn't a major issue for us. It's just a 3-4 hours drive.

Welsh fans with both jabs can fly to Danmark and hire a car. The Dutch won't know and the only problems might be getting tickets or if they check nationality at match entry. Driving a Danish car, the Politie will leave you alone, but keep your mouth shut in the service stations, nodding and gestures only, don't go into bars and get back over border toute de suite when the match ends.

Spain vs Slovakia
Poland vs Sweden

I fancy Poland and Spain.. my last prediction was spot on, so I'm on form

Poland 1 down in 82 seconds.

What was Dubravka doing for both goals, especially the first one where he bundled it into his own net

Saves a penalty, then has a double shocker.

Did you see Lewandowskis miss

Lemondropski is coming to the fag end of his career now though, he’s 32.

I’m the wrong side of forty and only played Carmarthenshire League, but would still have scored the rebound.
