Ferdinand was very sure England could beat either team, I think they will find Italy an easier proposition than Spain would have been, the Italians like to have a go, but Spain would just get hold of he ball, play it amongst themselves and frustrate England. I would prefer to see a Denmark Italy final, both teams who beaten us on their way. No shame in losing to the winners.

When Wales play in major tournaments they always lose to the eventual winner. Brazil 1958, Portugal 2016, and either Italy or Denmark 2021.
