• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

And the mistake made by Shmichael confirms that the manager should have said sorry lads, but you ain't going back out.

My 80/1 Lakuku top scorer and Portugal to win is looking healthy early on as Lukaku puts them 1-0 up..as I type 2-0

Don't forget to tell the people that mean the most to you how much you love them at every opportunity, and repeat x 10 evey day is the overriding factor guys...
Get well soon Mr Eriksen ❤

Belgium could have won that in slippers, very ominous

Russia would struggle to get out of Wales group.

Don't know what to make of that group now, Denmark result was an anomaly, and has the potential to turn it all upside down.

Apart from Russia, they look a bit crap.

Just watching the last snippet on ITV and they're already flogging England propaganda, saying they can do something special etc.. every time without fail

Not as if he has ever made a mistake before? Think it was a good strong header more than a GK error.

Russia are a pub team, so easy for Belgium in your own backyard

This.

For a massive country with a huge population and a lot of (dodgy) money sploshing about, they seem not to have a clue about organising their football at international level. They were dreadful tonight.
How are we supposed to take them seriously when the manager selects a 38 year old who has only played 79 minutes of first team football ALL SEASON???!
Incidentally, the guy looked like they'd just gone into the bar of the local working men's club and dragged any old bloke out of the corner where he was having a pint and a crafty fag, and stuck him in some kit and boots. You'll do, they said. And his name? You couldn't make it up. Jerkoff.

I’m sure it’s not like that.
The Danish FA are also reporting Ericksen has spoken to his players from hospital bed.
It seems an adult conversation has decided what happens next.

Could be right Daz, but should be the management to make that call. The mental well being of their players must take precedence.

They got the option to continue the game or play at 12.00 today - money talks. Coach and players decided there was no way they could play today since the wouldn't get any sleep.

I was at the game. Never tried anything this surreal.

Must have been a horrendous watch inside the stadium - much criticism here of the broadcasting of it but for each of the people criticising on social media none of them seemed to have the ability to turn it off for themselves...

Continuing on say Tuesday would have made sense to me, gives the players a few days to rest and recover a bit mentally, because there's no way they would have been in the right frame of mind to carry on straight away like they did. I get that might have caused some scheduling issues though.

Frank Lampard at least says Southgate has been good in the media and in the build up but asks the question can Southgate do it on the pitch? I don't think Southgate is as single minded as many really good managers.

Funny question for Lampard to ask seeing as Tuchel showed just how poor he was as Chelsea manager.

The Beeb's commentator just stated, presumably with no hint of irony, that England can't possibly play a high-tempo game for 90 minutes because of the heat. Try playing in Baku you home-advantage given perennial bottlers.
