Looking at all the groups though, I'm really not sure at all that 4 points will be enough to qualify if we come third. Certainly not nailed on at all in the way people seemed to be talking. Every single group looks like it could have a third place team with four points. Especially if Czech Croat ends up a draw. i reckon we might need to lose no more than 1-0 to be sure, or hope Turkey have some pride.

Group A: Switzerland nowhere near nailed on to be Turkey, who themselves need a win.

Group B: I fancy Belgium to take care of Finland.

Group C: I think Ukraine will be too strong for Austria.

Group D: Almost certain to provide three teams for next round.

Group E: Let’s assume that Spain beat Poland and Slovakia.

Group F: I’m sure that the big three will generate results that see them all qualify.

Based on my theories, Wales will be fine.

Assuming that they win their group they go on to face one of France, Germany or Portugal. The England squad could well be in holiday (in Skegness) before the end of June.

Scotland doing OK so far....just keep it going and concentrate and we'll have a greater and greater sense of Sais commentator and pundit hysteria as we get to the end......
