• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Lucky pile of shite is coming home

I remember a few years back when England were losing over in Germany, the German fans sarcastically chanting ‘football’s coming home’. It was bloody brilliant.

Well Grealish has made a difference.

Yeah, he got me there. It was a simple cross that most players would achieve, but credit to him, he's got an assist in a Euros knockout match.

For both goals they did really well to stay onside. Buckle up. Johnson will be on the telly tonight.

The German team sang it in '96 when they paraded the trophy in Germany. That was some excellent trolling.

The way to beat this is clearly to attack it. Krauts got it wrong. I fancy Denmark would see it off. If not then Italy or Belgium if De Bruyne is fit I suppose. But they could shamble through now and have home advantage. Maybe the tumblers are all clicking for them for once.

F**k me Germany were crap, England marginally less so

They have to beat Sweden or Ukraine in Rome to set up a home run at the tournament

Its not looking good is it?

You’d have to fancy them to get through to the final now. Ukraine/Sweden next, then Denmark/Czechs in the semis.

Unfortunately one of Italy/Belgium will be out in the next round, and you’d have to say that Spain will beat the Swiss but we saw what happened last night.

Italy/England final for me at the moment.

I wonder if the english manure and bin dipper fans will give sterling the plaudits he deserves?

Not sure, I haven't seen anything of the Swedes. If Ukraine are better than Sweden I think England will get through comfortably.

The draw has ended up being a fiasco. All the strongest teams ended up in one half. That's what I mean in terms of it falling for them, but on the other hand, it always does, and they always find a way to fuck it up. I have a bad feeling this time though.

No it isn't.

Does anyone know why both semis and the final are all at wembley?

I thought it was supposed to be spread out evenly

Them getting to the final, with all of the hype, only to capitulate when they face Italy/Belgium in the final, will be sweet. 8-)
