• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

You have to wonder about the Belgian FA. A generation of players as good as this and they put Martinez in charge of it.

Like giving Maureen from Driving School the keys to Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes.

Well that's a bit of a disaster for Bobby, Italy good value for the win mind. 👍

Fair play, both teams played their hearts out there. If Italy can do it again against Spain they’ll deservedly be in the final.

I wonder if he fancies a different kind of challenge? 🤔

Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, see what ya mean, next stop Rossi's.😉

Italy were good value for the win but they reverted to their cheating, cynical time wasting selves (its in the DNA) for the last ten minutes, and the ref was far too weak to get a grip on them. That's his tournament over, I think.

I truly think any team would have done the time wasting manoeuvres Italy did. I know Wales would have. I just wanted Belgium to score so we could have had another 30 minutes of what was a great game.

First of all there was the guy who pulled up when chasing a ball on the left wing. He was standing up two metres from the touchline and was OK, but his mate went up to him and told him to lie down, which he did, and he was then on the pitch for about four minutes receiving treatment before they took him off on a stretcher. If the ref had anything about him, he should have ushered him off the pitch straight away, or insisted on a stretcher straight away. The Belgians certainly didn't get all of that four minutes back, because he only added on five in total and there were loads of substitutions and other hold ups. He should have added on ten minutes. Then there was the goalie colliding with his own man from a Belgian free kick, going down on the deck and again wasting a couple of minutes pretending to be injured. It soured their win for me, they went beyond the normal time wasting. Very poor reffing.

Makes me laugh mind. When Swans/Wales are losing and the oppo is time wasting its cheating. When its us doing it its game management!

Ukraine vs England

You've got to fancy England and Denmark to progress from these pair of fixtures and the bookies totally agree

Good man. If that doesn’t give us a Ukraine Czech semi, then maybe the knobs’ name really is on it.

Who do we think would give the 1996 failures the toughest game? I think maybe the bouncing Czechs.
