Few of us in Stratford upon Avon Sunday for 2 days....an Italian win could see us in spot of bother

I was up there last week when they played Germany. Not much interest I felt.
Very quiet as tourist numbers are way down.
The only pub making a noise was over the boat club way The Best which is part of the Swans nest hotel.

There was a quiet beer garden opposite belonging to the boat club and many have their phones watching the game so there's a delay.......pub gets noisy.....then moments later.....you get another wail of over the top excitement.

The Nando's is tidy and the All Bar one is ok. Not overly bowled over.

Cheers for the heads up Dickie, wer there for the races, chances are we be mashed anyway.

Sam Mattaface did a great job for Scottish independence tonight, never heard such over the top melodramatic comments from a commentator

It's a shame a semi-final had to be decided by the incident and decision that was given. Feel sorry for Denmark, maybe they didn't deserve to win on the night but been screwed over by a poor game official and unsporting player. Haven't seen the game, took a radio out to the country and was hoping for a Denmark win the entire time. Felt some hope when they went ahead but was it wasn't to be. Shit tournament really, the English get to play every game on home advantage and apart from today haven't been offered a test or proper challenge. Even when someone comes along and gives them a game it takes a poor incident to see them through. They're not a great team I don't think, even good may be pushing it too far.

Got travel tickets and accomodation for Wales at the weekend. Looking forward to being in Swansea on Sunday at time of Final and out of this country. It's no fun for non-English here at the moment. Was hoping the whole time they would be eliminated but somehow dragged themselves to a Final appearance. We'll see you at the weekend over there.

The next few days are just going to be terrible aren't they?

Some of the biased comments from Welsh fans are a bit cringeworthy, especially on social media. We come across as a very bitter bunch.

I was surprised that VAR didn’t pick up on the Sterling pen though. Isn’t that what it’s there for?

England have a very good chance of winning it, make no mistake. I really want Italy to win but I don’t think it’s going to be the walkover that people have been saying. The media is going to be awful though.

Compared to the bollox being spewed out on the media, I think a few so called bitter comments from Wales/Scotland are nothing. Almost every pundit I've heard have said it wasn't a pen, for me, to see the crash n burn tears Sunday night after an Italy win is not a bitter comment , it'll be fantastic.

How come VAR didn't overturn that? When you see it from behind the goal line, you can see that Sterling was airborne before the defender's leg was anywhere near him. Very dodgy. Unlike UEFA to be involved in anything dodgy, surely?

the VAR guy is english

Is that a fact or an assumption? Definitely dodgy if true.

Better team won on the night, and someone with a reputation for diving, done iit again, VAR? who is getting a bung for that?

Final, not ggoing to be easy. Italy ! we all know italy , past masters, this is the real test for England.

Next few days tv and social media may be off!

How the feck was that a penalty? No contact!

Much as I hate Stirling for what he did in the cup match, have watched the "trip" last night a few times now and just prior to it he had a mega push in the back, which is what the pen could have been given for.
