• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

So when are Italy turning up then?...

Cannot underestate how much Italy miss Spinazzola. He is the fastest player of Euro 2020 and Italy to be honest just don't have another wingback of his calibre to replace him. The difference in how they attacked before and after his injury are like chalk and cheese.

Top speed (km/h)
33.8: Loïc Négo (Hungary)
33.8: Leonardo Spinazzola (Italy)
33.7: Kingsley Coman (France)
33.6: Cody Gakpo (Netherlands)
33.5: Daniel James (Wales)
33.5: Marcus Rashford (England)

For pure, explosive pace, Hungary's Loïc Négo and Italy's injured left-back Leonardo Spinazzola remain the men to chase, though in terms of pace it would be a photo finish between most of the top six in a 100m sprint. England's Kyle Walker (32.0km/h) and Ciro Immobile of Italy (31.7km/h) were among the top five speed merchants in the semi-finals.

Everything is falling for them, bounce of a ball, lucky blocks, ref decisions, I'd be surprised if Italy win this

Not looking good, Mancini needs to shake things up and quickly, Italy look a busted flush.
Engerland won't have a better chance, ever.

England have parked the bus and look quite comfortable in defence. Italy are getting frustrated, but they must get their slick passing game going again. Move the ball quickly and accurately, force mistakes from England. At the moment there's only one team in it. I hope Roberto is giving them the mother of half time talks.

Shit game. England are poor but there is no opposition. Wish Italy could get going. Shaw goal was good, he’s the only England player to look decent in the first half.

Its ok Mourinho will still say that he did it all wrong, should have hit it with his right foot

Italy have a goal in them. Agree with Pego move the ball quickly and create the space hopefully. Or will Rashford come on and make it 2-0 ? :-(

Unfortunately can't see it coming, England more likely to score next imho

So hundreds of English fans storm past stewards manning barriers, throwing bottles and punches, and make thier way into the stadium, fans sitting on the stairwells, (BBC News feed) ...
Well well...
Didn't see that coming 👀
Scum

Had Italy scored from the free-kick conceded by Sterling (what delicious irony) I'd know this would end well. But it's going to sh1t, this.
