Fabio Borini

Marvin Emnes has been sitting by the phone all day.

One thing I always liked about borini was his tireless running defences could not rest with him about

Since he left us 9 years ago he’s scored 32 goals,3.5 goals a season.
‪Is this the cheap option to cheer up the fans when Joe goes for a pittance? ‬

He’s a very good player mind, in the way that Danny Graham was. He might not get his share of goals but he makes players around him play above themselves.

I liked that he shot at every opportunity

But he has failed since he left so it’s hit or miss. Leon vs Bony. Curt vs Ayew (Ayew is absolutely not a success for his money.)

A team with Ayew and Borini could be very aggressive if you could find room for both. Liam Cullen good develop very well playing amongst that kind of quality.

Must be a suggestion from one of our directors. You know, that geezer with the big nose. What's Shechter doing these days, worth another punt you reckon?

Mike Marsh coached him at Liverpool.

Only 29, he is a good finisher , worth taking a chance on
Will always be well thought of by fans whatever happens

Sinclair Borini was an exciting partnership that Ayew and Borini could replicate.
(Don't like Borini though ... but there again I don't have to.)

It depends what money he is offered as to whether he comes, I guess.
What is he worth per week? 10k ?

I think we hold all the cards on this one, a chance for Borini to relaunch his career in the most watched 2nd tier leauge in Europe...

Think he'll be asking for at least 15 to 20K a week, will he be a starter? Can't see him coming to be a bench player.

I hoped I wouldn't have to be the one to say this. But the possible signing of Fabio Borini, sets off a red flag to me that the stench of Huw Jenkins is still stinking out the corridors of SCFC. It's a definite no for me.

I think this has more of a Tatey, Curt or Trunds stamp on it.
Unless you are saying never bring back ex players which is a fair point.
Personally I say if they fit the bill then go for them regardless.
Borini only played 12 matches for us, is still only 29 and has a lot more experience now playing at a higher level.
Surely worth a punt?
