• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Mike Marsh worked with Borini at Liverpool, so I think it's more his suggestion.

I would be happy to see him come in, if he is keen to play he could sign a weekly contract, I know it is a long time ago but we would not have been promoted without him. He is an intelligent player would be potentially brilliant alongside Andre Ayew. We are looking loose up front and our last game may be the spur to get this done.

Fabio Borini is in discussions today with Swansea to sign on a pay as you play + bonuses - He's keen to join - talks are already underway with the terms being talked through today & if required on Wednesday morning with Julian Winter CEO

Pay as you play? Surely he isn't interested in that sort of deal, it's not as if he's an injury prone Jack Wilshere/Andy Carroll

There's probably a guaranteed base salary with appearance/win bonuses to top it up

Be nice to see the knife between his teeth again. I quite liked that.

I just had a quick google to see what he's been up to lately. I didn't realise his goal record is so awful. Never scored double figures in the league and only beaten the 6 he got for us twice. Bit poor innit. It'd be asking a lot for him to be the goal scorer we need.

Burnley and Watford interested also, sure Premier League clubs had to register their squads by 5PM today so would rule Burnley out
