What’s a load of BS?

What the Welsh Government are doing, dictating what one person can eat, or if they choose to eat then pay a higher price.

I am literally gob smacked with this, what's the old adage 'read the room' why on earth would they even speak about this, cost of living crisis.. But no, the idiots at the senedd decide to do this, you really could not make it up.

On the flip side my local Co-op do a fantastic meal deal of
1x small carton of mixed fruit
1x Chicken Caesar Wrap and
1x Small bottle of Orange juice.
All for the incredibly mega value £3.75...

I get this regularly for my night shift snack and is probably one of the healthier things I eat of a week ♥️
To be fair that's not bad. The corner shop near where I work, are now charging £4.25 for a meal deal, used to be £2.99.

Thanks, I take that remark as a sign of defeat. Unless you have anything to say against what I said, I will bid you goodnight.

So in your view then, more draconian restrictions are needed on the availability of unhealthy foods?
Yeah, if you like, but its 30 years too late, at least.
Like I said you'll never beat the big corps.
Money talks, always has, always will.

Diolich

I suppose it will transpire some time this year, what this is exactly all about, but I really think in a non drunken way, this will not benefit anybody.

You only have to see what they did with mppu, unbelievable put the cost of alcohol up, and the retailer gets all the benefits. Now, that should have been thought about a little bit longer.

Why not, if you take something away that is considered bad, then if something is considered good give it back? Pretty simple.

In essence if you want to raise the price on alcohol, lower the price on safe drinks. If you want to raise the price on un-healthy foods, then it should follow that healthy foods get reduced by the money you have made from the increase in so called un- healthy foods.
