• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

That’s just not good enough, they should have gone to Carmarthen Athletic RFC. It’s out of town, plenty of parking and all on 1 level.

Very odd in this day and age for an organization to arrange a venue for something like this and not to have accessibility as one of the main features that venues need to have. It's a bit worrying that we have people booking things like this without taking that into account.

There might be more to this - maybe the arrangements they have for those that need it work well and it's not just 'we'll grab a few burly lads to carry you up the stairs'. People mean well with that but it's not always the most dignified way of getting somewhere. Just book venues that are accessible. End of story.

That is absolutely shocking to be fair.

And it’s not only disabled supporters but older supporters who can’t do stairs who won’t manage either.

Not good enough. If the club can’t pick this up (which is, incidentally ridiculous), then surely someone at the Trust should.

Does this not come under deliberate direct discrimination contrary to the Equalities Act?
