Fans Forum - Rescheduled!!

Hence why we need to know whats happend in the past, but I doubt we will get the answers, it will be a magicians display no doubt.
The empty seats you refer to are a result of whats happened in the past, so needs to be examined and addresed.
Only thing with the past is we can't alter it.

Ideal opportunity for the manager to issue a rallying cry to summon the troops between now and the end of the season.

Huge opportunity missed, especially if he wants the gig on a full time basis as we're led to believe.

yep, need to know what actually happened , after all the BS they told us about the window ,
Of course we do.
If we want to put things right then the failings in the past need to be explained and what a perfect opportunity at the forum.
We need one of the directors to show some balls and turn up and give some explanation to what went wrong, what will change and what direction they plan to go do it doesn't happen again.

Cant alter it.....but we can learn from it, and as fans we need to know,
i am sure the fans will behind the players in the last games, as no one wants relegation,

This has the potential to be the worst forum ever. Wheeling out three people who will not have the ability to answer any meaningful questions and can deflect any that have the potential to be meaningful

Rather than call it a a forum it can now be known as meet the new scapegoats

The new ownership group … same as the old one but with different faces … not what people told us

It's unbelievable Phil!

Recent new owners and not one of them going to be there. The only one who done a bit of interaction but now he has disappeared it's like these people don't exist.

I feel sorry for the guys who are facing the fans, they have no history of what's gone wrong and will only know what they have been told by the ones who got it all wrong....it's certainly going to be a story of how they plan on things going forward and that's no good without talking about the past errors.

They seem like good talkers so we are told, I would like to see their faces at the forum and speaking to people who will ask them difficult questions and not those that will tow the line.

I struggle to see anything that has changed since the new ownership group took charge. After all many of them were involved with the old one so it was just a changing of the guard but not the revolution we were led to believe

Appointing Sheehan to the end of the season is just the latest of those things

I see how we are in a situation in appointing Sheehan until the end of the season with relegation a possibility.......something I feel the owners are not taking that serious.

It doesn't seem that much has changed, could argue that it's worse given the transfer window in January topped all recent ones!
Was happy to give them a chance and will do so come the summer but the alarm bells already ringing shouldn't be ignored but it seems that some are happy to do so for some reason.

Which player in January wouldn't you have signed then Daps?

Lewis O'Brien - Who, imo (praying), will be the reason we don't go down.
Delcroix - Player to cover/compete with Darling, left sided centere back, Belgium capped.
Widdell - Swedish international which gives us a headstart on the summer recrtuitment drive.

What did you expect to happen? Take into account aswell the Grimes bombshell no one saw coming. All this while under FFP pressure due to the absolute disasterclass by Watson, which the club let carry on for way too long granted.

I've got faith we'll be in a better shape come next season, and they've only just got their feet under table, but it's hard to defend the lack of comms etc. Just seems non existent at the moment.

If I am honest with you, I am happy with the 3 that we signed and the 2 who we have seen play have done tidy since they come in.
As confusing the Widell signing was in regards to the loaning back, It appears that we have a decent player on our hands and I can understand the situation we were in just to get the deal done.

I expected to get 1 or 2 extra numbers in to help what was already a weak squad(in numbers) and replace what went out from that squad also. We only replaced Abbey and Grimes and went down in numbers is the reality.
If I said it wasn't good enough then that would be a positive at this moment in time......it was an absolute disaster.

So signed three good players, while being seriously close to breaking FFP rules, but it was an absolute disaster. Fair enough.

I have sympathy with Andy Coleman aswell with the breakdown of some deals late, it's hard to persuade players to come here when we were languishing in 18th or whatever it was and our manager publicly hawking himself out as soon as he smelt a few more quid. Coleman's biggest mistake was not sacking him after the Pompey loss imo.

A question that would also be put to the new board members if they were there, do they think they made mistakes in the handling and timing of parting ways with Luke Williams.

A lot of questions need answering by the new board members.
