fans protest

The only thing I would say about the "pulling the plug" on the deals was that someone wanted the information out into the open. We can only try and second guess who and what the reasons were

There are always agendas. Could be an agent pissed off at losing a cut. Could be one of RM's inner circle. Could be someone else in the know. It's all unhelpful in any case, and doesn't (or shouldn't) distract from the reality that we've actually spent quite a bit of money over the last two windows. Certainly more than I expected us to.

I agree with the last part - wrote it in one of the articles the other day that our spending for 21/22 should be judged based on the whole season and not just the last day of January. Downes and Piroe alone cost a few more than just pennies...!

Fans of most clubs in this division could only dream of spending the sort of money that we’ve spent on players this season.

How many clubs are buying players over £1 million… and this season we’ve bought 2 players over a million.

This rebuild is going to take time… I’m sure if we had been able to raise funds through Dhanda, Fulton or Pato then we would have been in a position to put some kind of deal on the table to try and sign O’Riley… but we couldn’t shift players so a deal was never a possibility.

A fan protest when what we really need is to be getting behind the team.
Haven't seen anyone calling for this while we were winning games?

Why do people always want a protest after a run of bad results? Don't get me wrong, nobody hates losing as much as i do, but protest over a bad run, not for me. Up to now, the yanks have been tidy owners, but they have blotted it this week if reports are true about them pulling the plug on transfers last minute.

Embarrassing for the Club, they did similar last January as well, at this rate clubs will not want to do business with us.
I can understand them not looking to buy players, because of where we are and probably want to wait till summer, but if that's the case, why go chasing players to come here this January.
Don't agree with loaning multiple players either, cause we'll have to start again come Summer.

Clubs will always do business with us Max, both selling and buying. We were looking to buy players, but we had to sell or at least loan players out to finance the deals. Those outward players didn't happen so we couldn't bring any in, it's where we are now.

I've got little expectations these days mate, just happy to have a club I can go and watch at the moment.

Insane thread. File with the Martin out one. As Jaxs said, raving bampots.
