Same, i refuse to open news articles containing horrific cases like this. seriously affects my mental health.

I think capital punishment should be reinstated for scum like these, or better still, give me just five minutes with each of them, job done.

100% agree, both on the refusal to read and the punishment deserved. I genuinely don't know much about what happened but my mum was almost crying when telling me about it yesterday and that's good enough for me.

To call for the introduction of capital punishment for crimes like this is entirely understandable and I have long struggled with the notion.

I don't support the death penalty and the case of Timothy John Evans highlights my reasons.

But consider this; one quick despatch at the gibbet or going to bed every night for the next 25 years expecting to get the s*it kicked out of you the next day.
