• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

He did ok but I never get the overrating from our fans.
I’ve seen Piroe compared to Michu by more than one person today, like I say I don’t get it.
The same fućkwits will be slagging him off next week.

He looked promising. Got seriously burned for pace on the wing once, but otherwise looked cool and elegant. Piroe reminds me of Michu sometimes with his calm finishing and left foot timing of his hots but to compare the two in terms of ability or talent or contribution would be ridiculous.

We're miles away from the Prem players days.. they're far superior in their reading of the game than our average championship plodders.. the fact people genuinely believe that Matt Grimes is the 2nd coming is rather funny, he'll get eaten alive in the top flight, he doesn't see the pictures that top level players do.. his brain is limited

I was thinking about this the other day funny enough, in relation to spatial awareness and patterns in rugby. Top quality footballers, rugby players run different software in their heads. Same with racing drivers. Many can reach competence, and stand out from 90% of us, but to be really top dollar you need that software.

I liked the look of him, one mispass aside I don't recall him making a mistake. 6'5" makes him a hell of a potential weapon in both boxes if we can properly utilise him.

I didn’t expect him to get that much game time but I guess that injuries and suspensions have forced our hand. Didn’t let anyone down today on what was his full league debut and as an eighteen year old. He should be proud of what he did today.

he didnt look anywhere near 6 ft 5 to me!

That's because when people are far away, they look really really small.

He can run, will replace BENNET HOPEFULLY!

For such a young lad playing only his second ever senior level game I thought he was excellent. He looked more composed than Rhys Williams ever did. Calm on the ball, he will face much sterner tests of his defending in the coming weeks. A great start

Wasn’t in the squad yesterday, I wonder if he’s injured?

Possibly so, last nights bench was light defensively.
