• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

His older brother Vic is even better apparently, hot prospect by all accounts 🔥

Bloke said to me once, ‘do you know Vic Burns?, I said ‘no’, and he said ‘you want to try it on your arse then’.

People around me thought that was funny.

Some people will find anything funny imo.

Honestly, people talking up Brandon Cooper.. I saw him play against Moldova.. we drew and lost against them.. and Cooper was absolutely horrendous, it's no surprise Martin wants a different option.. Cooper needs to move on IMO, play at a level he's comfortable at.. League Two or below.. because that's where academy football is at.. the standard is so low, it's comical.. Jasper T on the other site though would play them all and get us relegated in the process.. he's the most deluded Swans fan about but people rave about his postings

Brandon lacks pace and struggles in a Martin system imo, but I can see where the likes of Jasper etc are coming from. We as a club rely on trading players and to do that we need to trust our academy lads, lending an 18 year old kid as what we assume is cover over our own, more experienced lads seems strange from outside looking in.

Well I think it's funny 😁 and will continue to do so for many more years 👍

Swans about to announce signing

Assuming it’s Finley?

I can generally see the logic in this.

Brandon Cooper needs game time at this stage of his career and he’s not going to get it with us this season. His loan to Swindon serves as a crossroads moment for both him and RM.

As a reaction to this we take on aboard another low outlay player who can back fill Cooper’s departure. Headcount movement is net zero, quality of the squad not significantly impacted, financial impact almost certainly low.
