When we signed Fisher did any one believe that we would have to wait until February to see him in a starting eleven? I certainly didn’t and especially so on the back of the Forest debacle which wasn’t that long ago. There is perhaps an argument in favour with of Hamer on the back of his performance at Huddersfield, however after today I now expect to see Fisher take over.

Martin did the right thing by playing Hamer in the first game after Fisher signed and the keeper gave him no reason to drop him

Now he has, Fisher will surely almost certainly start on Tuesday

Agree with Phil.
The lack of assertiveness from Hamer in the box definitely contributed to both goals even if he was not directly at fault for either.
A bolder keeper would have just plucked the cross from the second goal out of the air and could have been on the front foot to cut out the cross for the first.

Fisher was 19th in Div 1 as far as goals conceded to saves ratio is concerned. I wouldn't get too excited just yet.

He did the right thing managerial wise in keeping Hamer there as he had played well so fair play kept the faith its what all players like. But i think he has to sit down Tuesdayas Fisher is the future.

If Fisher plays I hope we don't get battered.
eel be poor dab if he flounders.

Waste of what was presumably a good chunk of our transfer budget if he doesn't start playing regularly. Keeping faith in Hamer and signing Fisher just to send Benda out on loan is going to look like a hell of an ego trip from Martin unless Fisher turns out to be a clear upgrade on both.

Fisher, and I have no idea what he is like. I know what Hamer is like though. Benda would have us 5 points better off by now. Martin’s prejudices are harming us.

Agree with Monny, at least Benda came for the high ball. Also I wish Hamer wouldn't push the ball straight back through the penalty spot with every save he makes. Surely better to push it wide?
