Fisher

He's tidy with the ball at his feet, but his decision making when the ball is pumped into the box is horrendous and his suicidal passes sometimes is infuriating

Don't know what he was thinking in coming out to make that challenge, ridiculous decision from him.

He doesn't save a lot either, the main job of a keeper, but trust the process etc

His distribution isn’t even that great… and isn’t that why we bright him in!?

It's possible to believe in what a manager's doing overall and yet still criticise them when they make mistakes you know?

For me, get Benda back here for pre-season and have him work on his ability with the ball at his feet. Fisher looked a poor signing at the time, and nothing he's done since has changed that view.

I can see what RM sees in Fisher, his decision making is sometimes questionable but his distribution often makes a big difference.
In my eyes I rate Benda as a better passer than Fisher but needs to learn when he has possession of the ball.
I also see Benda as a better shot stopper than both Fisher and Hamer.
Hamer feels like the middle of the road between all three keepers.

Overall I think Benda has the highest potential and could really do with a season now as our reserve keeper to learn from RM and Fisher about his decision making with the ball at his feet (specially when to make the pass and when to play it safe and just get rid).

Still can’t understand why we got rid of Benda over Hamer

In fairness Benda was very much in the firing line when our team was still adapting to the way that RM wanted to play. I don't have any objections with taking him out when his confidence was shot to bits and he was making nervy mistakes.

In one of the videos that the OS puts up now and again it features the goalie coach, who says in it somewhere that they wanted Fisher for his calmness, which I get. He never exactly looks panicked, he just doesn't look particularly good at distribution.

Put me firmly in the "we should have given Benda more time" camp.

Gotta feeling that whenever we look bit ropey at the back, lot of it down to him.
Just pray that if we go on the verge of pulling off the insane, he doesn't be the one that costs us.

Re the comments about distribution, I thought he was pretty good today in this regard.

I don’t know what to make of the pen as it was down the other end of pitch and I’ve not seen a replay.
