• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Did a piece from the Liberty about us not having a betting shirt sponsor.
Decent interview with our Head of Commercial, Becky Edward Simmons. She was saying that if betting sponsorships were removed from Football, it would be the smaller clubs that would suffer the most. We couldn’t get a Fly Emerates sponsorship for example.
Also mentioned that if we did get promoted back into the Premiership, the club couldn’t guarantee that we wouldn’t go back to having a betting sponsor on the shirt as it’s so lucrative.
Interesting.

Fair point and there’s also three or four betting companies advertising around the ground and we’ve got one on our sleeve.
Lovely girl she is too.

Thanks for sharing that! It's really interesting to hear about the impact of betting sponsorships in football. Indeed, smaller clubs often rely on these lucrative deals to support their finances, and removing them could have a significant impact. It's a complex issue with different perspectives to consider. If you're looking for alternative ways to enjoy sports betting, you might want to check out judi online. They offer a safe and regulated platform for online betting, with a wide range of sports and betting options to choose from. Plus, they have attractive promotions and bonuses for new and existing customers, making your betting experience even more exciting.

And you might want to feck off.

Bloody bots.

Anyway, now that betting is being removed from shirt sponsorships, it’ll be interesting to see if the original post pans out - that the smaller clubs will be the ones that suffer the most.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Football's Gambling Addiction program. It's indeed an important topic that raises various perspectives. The interview with Becky Edward Simmons seems insightful, highlighting the complex dynamics between betting sponsorships and smaller clubs' financial stability. The discussion about the potential impact on sponsorships in different leagues brings up some valid concerns.

If you're interested in delving further into the conversation, you can try this out by reading more about the recent white paper release and understanding how various stakeholders, including affiliates, are reacting to the proposals.

You're very welcome to my thoughts, which haven't changed. You still need to feck right off, Mr Bot.
