Crazy money

Absolutely bonkers

Spent big in his first two jobs

That's about 4 fifths of a Haaland or 1 and a quarter Salahs.

£25M according to the BBC.

Aye, Sky Sports going for the more sensational headline including £17.5m of add-ons. Still, Forest's recruitment this summer is off the scale.

I bet the owner will be making lots of signs of the cross if they bottom come December after all he's spent.

Another quality signing for them... Not jealous at all. 🫣

Ridiculous amount of money🤣😂😂🤣
FFS he's alright but not showing any signs of being an all time Premier League great!

Weren't we paying Ayew £80,000 a week, in the Championship...

That is insane

But still better value than paying Lingard imo

Or to put it into perspective PL money gets you Lingard as one of your top earners.
Whereas we have the absolute beast and rather excellent Ryan Bennett as our top earner.
Oh and a manager who gets defenders who can't do what their job description states they need to do

Rather Ayew than Lingard btw ;)

It’ll be interesting to see what happens if they get relegated. Think they’ll stay up though.

Yes, Cooper's got some news pins for that voodoo doll apparently

They are taking a gamble, for sure. Only time will tell if it pays off. MGW in isolation isn’t risk free and you only have to look at the Rhian Brewster situation to see how careers can temporarily stall and marketability drops.

FWIW I also think they will stay up. It then becomes a case of building sensibly on what they have already. MGW on a long term deal could turn out to be a solid foundation.
