• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

No i say, leave it in the era in which it was originally set, the world has moved on.

I think it's a sign of how much more programming is needed now with all the streaming services. It's not enough just to have entire runs of old shows, they all have to have original programming. I read that Frasier is being brought back to be aired on Paramount's streaming service in the States.

'Regular TV' is dying out. Very few people these days setting up home for the first time are going to order a cable package to watch TV. When I bought my first place 20 years ago, it was one of the first things I did.

One of my favourite programmes. But no need to bring it back. It ran its course. The actor who played Martin Crane is now dead (and Eddie the JRT). The Niles/Daphne story had run. Was already struggling in the latter series.

Not to mention the fact that Kelsey Grammer is a Trump supporting cnut.

Indeed it does Bryn. Mind you, I really liked Killing Joke in the 80s and they were big fans of Aleister Crowley and shit like that so I can't be too self-righteous about Grammer. Will probably give it a chance just for old time's sake and out of curiosity as I liked the original and I might be pleasantly surprised. If it's any good, who knows, there may be a chance for Wilfred Bony back at the Swans yet, haha!

Went to see Killing Joke in 1985. Was deaf for days.

Would that be the bad luck that meant that Page & Plant are now only worth about £170M-£180M EACH. Such shocking bad luck, I wonder how they manage nowadays.
