Honestly….i’m well aware that if we’d performed ( Won ) then it would be Italy not NI…and I didn’t want to go to work for 45 years but had to …it was my job, probably only difference is if I hadn’t performed I would have been sacked, forgive me if I have little sympathy for the players having to turn out for a “meaningless “ game.

I assume these games are being played because as the play off finals were only five days after the semis, venues and staff had to be secured, tickets sold and arrangements made etc. But yeah, as a game of international football it’s an entirely pointless waste of time for both players and fans now. FAW should do what others are doing and give a free ticket to a future qualifying game for all those who’ve paid for their tickets for this.

Nice in theory, but I’d rather the ~£1m in ticket sales go towards another 3G for grassroots/community use somewhere in Wales, which is what pretty much where all the FAW money goes.

Different to club football where it’s going straight into players/directors pockets.
