• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

That was a dreadful game from a Wales perspective.

That Kpakio was way out of his depth. I am sure he will go on and have a decent career but that was to soon for him tonight.
Charlie Crew looked lost,Brooks off it and Harris way off it.
Only bright spot, Ben Davies was absolute class.

Canada were very impressive. Keep an eye out for that no 11 Ali Ahmed who I was very impressed with.

Edgy game also, might have been a red if it wasn't a friendly.
I think most of those points are what made it worthwhile for Bellamy.

We could have played San Marino, Malta, Andorra or Estonia (who all had friendlies tonight) and the youngsters may have looked very good, senior players would gone through the motions and you learn nothing.

Good points.
I can take younger players like Kpakio and Crew having bad nights but players like Harris and Brookes need to be doing more there tonight.....Bellamy would have learned something from tonight for sure.

Definitely would like more from Brooks - not really sure where you get the best out of him. If it’s where he played tonight you’ve got to have the full back bombing on past him to create space for him to cut in on his left. The young lad was never going to do that on his first cap.

Most would say Harris isn’t good enough (he works incredibly hard tbf but that’s not really enough). Don’t know what the other options are though? Johnson up front definitely didn’t work so the reality is he’s the back up option to Moore if we’re playing a proper number 9.

Seem to be lots of youngsters knocking around in other positions but don’t know of any centre forwards that are close to playing at this level?

Im struggling with the goal.

Am I the only one? It looks good But it wasn't particularly high, it was in either corner? Viggy saves that, Darlow too? Or am I being harsh?

From our viewpoint, Ben bailing out Cabango towards the end shows levels....

We are a little short of good athletes in our player pool. Really shows when you take out the Size of Moore and Speed of Brennan.

I do not know much about him but hope Kai Andrews can give us some size that we have been lacking in midfield for some time now.

The Macedonia game is going to be huge for us. Does not seem like there is going to be much support coming in to join this current group unless I am overlooking somebody?

Ampadu and Rodon are 2 huge omissions from this team.
