Apparently we're off to see The Killers next month. Off the top of my head I know two of their songs so it should be good.

Then The Mavericks in September, but only if they play Gentle On My Mind

My mate sae them in Brighton this week and said they were class.

Gutted I missed out on seeing Grandaddy and the lost machine orchestra last week. Could not make any of the shows and my mate Stevie (Malojian) was supporting. Was offered passes for London Palladium and Albert Hall Manchester too. Seen the youtube vids though and man they are class. Played all of the Sophtware Slump LP and a few other GD classics. Was gutted to miss out on meeting up with a few old friends including a few who flew in from Canada and the US.

Grandaddy are class.

Yes they really are special. Jason is currently working on a solo lp and the next grandaddy album right now. It looks like that will be the final grandaddy lp. I have so many happy memories of working with them on uk tours.

£100 barrier broken for day tickets to Download and forced to buy a weekend-long parking pass even though I'll only be there for one of the days

I'm only interested in Maiden and Megadeth - all I need now is for their stage times to clash 👍

I'm there for the entire weekend and cannot wait, it's only been 3 years since the last one... I have heard that Megadeth's set will be finished before Maiden hit the stage, i'm really chuffed that's the case!

Will also be at the Creeper/Cult/Cooper gig next Monday.

Enjoy the show! I’m sure Alice is the headline act though.

He helped out at a foodbank / kitchen in uplands today. Stayed at the grand hotel which is surprising as I thought he’d be staying at the Marriott.6CB2C6FB-5CC2-4D78-B8E8-8CF922391CE8.jpeg

Awesome Dar, what a sound! Great little venue, impressed. Did you see Creeper? Never heard of them and didn’t expect to catch them but they were great, sort of like Bowie meets Misfits meets The Smiths, really cool.

Absolutely brilliant night and I did see Creeper.

Just got back , missed Creeper as a bit rushed to get there on time , very impressed with the energy of The Cult having never followed them before , the singers roadie spent the night rewinding mic cables .

Alice Cooper again put on a hell of a show , funnily enough his mic failed mid show but he carried on .

Sat up in the gods but still awesome sound , think my bones shook on Nikki Styx guitar solo .

The theatre really needs more toilets though , the queues were not great .

Crumbs . just checked her name is Nita Strauss , apologies .

She put on a brilliant performance though .
