• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Oh and on a side note I texted Max a photo of Paul and I enjoying ourselves at the gig and he replied “f*ck off I’m watching Silent Witness.”

What a time to be alive.

So true that, he had a cup of tea and a digestive, slippers on and his blanket over his legs 😂😂

Blokes a cock.

The Cult were fine. Alice was magnificent though. What a showman.

If you're into the pantomime you need to catch Maiden before it's too late

Creeper were really good. Interesting trivia - AC bass player used to be in the Cult. AC a bit bubblegum for me and I was hoping for a bit more theatre but I understand the appeal. I only went for the Cult so everything else was a bonus.

Ye I noticed that last night when I got home and googled them. Four of last nights AC lineup are in Holywood Vampires too

You left too early for the theatre, they notched it up to 11 for the last 3 or 4 songs

Thought that might happen. 😂. Still, happy all around, hope they can attract a few more acts.

Gotta say last night felt like a bit of an awakening for me. My life has been very sheltered for the last 5 or 6 years but I was reminded that it's a big old world and that opportunities and adventures will come about if you put yourself out there

Next up - attending Swans matches again

Well it’s Whitesnake tomorrow with the ultimate pantomime dame, David Coverdale. So I reckon I’m getting my fill of theatre for one week. I do fancy catching Maiden while they’re still active though.

Must have been good to be able to get home fairly quickly for a change after a concert.
Glad everyone enjoyed it.

I had the kettle on in my kitchen within half an hour of School’s Out finishing. A rare treat indeed.

I’m actually looking forward to them the most. They’re excellent and I’ve never seen them live. Seen Whitesnake a couple of times and Foreigner is more or less a tribute band these days. But it’ll be a cracking night.

Coverdale must be in his late 70's now surely?

My first gig of '22 tonight. Already there in Bilston and having a nice cold cider while I wait for Karnataka to play, fist time I'll have seen them since Pontardawe Arts Centre in 2017.
